Use these “finding charts” to locate a hexagram. Find your hexagram by looking for its top trigram and bottom trigram. Your hexagram will be at their intersection point.
Chart One: a hexagram finding chart arranged the same as the one in the Wilhelm/Baynes I Ching (which many other books follow). The trigram order is based on symbolic family relationships.
Chart Two: a Shao Yong Fuxi Chart in which hexagrams are arranged according to the “Pre-heavenly” order of trigrams.
